About Hola Saint John

HOLA Saint John is a forum of the Saint John Board of Trade. Together we believe that our population and our community is changing and that people from other countries see the attraction in coming to Saint John- the small town intimacy combined with the city amenities and economic growth. There is already a vibrant and growing Spanish-speaking population in Saint John as well as Korean, Chinese, Iranians, Saudis to name a few.

Forum Mandate

1. To develop opportunities for local companies to expand into Mexico, Argentina, Chile and places in between. This opportunity to include the Iberian Peninsula.
2. To create a positive and exciting environment and opportunities for Latin American companies to do business in the Saint John region.
3. To encourage immigration to the Saint John region from Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries.
4. To support Spanish and Portuguese-speaking people in the Greater Saint John region. To welcome these newcomers from Europe, Central and South America and to help them become full members of our business and social communities.
